MATHIASELLA BUPLEUROIDES ‘GREEN DREAM’

Rare and unusual perennial producing jade-green umbels of greenish-black flowers that gradually mature to soft pink, persisting until autumn. Blooming from April to June (sometimes into September), this 90cm tall plant is highly valued for cutting and drying, making it a favourite among florists and gardeners.

Described as late as 1954, it was named after Mildred Mathias, a renowned Californian plantswoman. Thriving in well drained soil and partial shade, this long lasting architectural plant brings an elegant and distinctive touch to borders and mixed plantings.
