GLADIOLUS BYZANTINUS

Elegant spikes of vivid magenta pink flowers in early summer, rising to around 60cm on wiry stems. Slender, sword shaped leaves appear in spring, fading after flowering.

A hardy, long lived plant that naturalises well in grass, borders, or under light deciduous shade. Particularly good in warm, sheltered spots where it will multiply steadily and flower reliably year after year.

This is the true form – not the Dutch version.
