Acer negundo Sensation

Acer negundo Sensation is a superior selection of Box Elder, prized for its uniform growth habit and well-balanced, symmetrical branching. New foliage emerges in attractive green with subtle reddish tones, maturing through the seasons to deliver a brilliant display of red, orange, and yellow in autumn. The greyish-brown bark contrasts nicely with fresh green stems, adding further visual appeal. This small to medium-sized maple forms an upright, well-proportioned tree, making it an excellent choice for larger gardens, street plantings, parks, and open landscapes. With improved heat and drought tolerance, Sensation is a reliable and resilient performer in a range of conditions.
