STIPA TENUISSIMA

Stipa tenuissima, also known as Nassella tenuissima, is a fine-textured ornamental grass that forms delicate, feathery mounds of green foliage topped with airy, thread-like flower spikes. Growing to a height of 50-60cm, it adds a soft, ethereal quality to garden borders or container plantings.

This grass thrives in well-drained soils and full sun, making it perfect for xeriscaping or as a low-maintenance addition to mixed borders. Its fine texture and graceful movement make it a favourite for adding a natural, flowing element to the garden, especially when mass-planted or allowed to sway in the breeze.
