STIPA PSEUDOICHU

Stipa pseudoichu, also known by its synonym Jarava ichu, is a very graceful, slender, hardy grass that reaches up to 1 metre in height. This ornamental grass is characterised by its step-cut, blonde flower heads that appear from June to October, adding a soft, airy texture to the garden.

Originally seed collected from Quebrada de Humahuaca in Jujuy Province, Argentina, this variety is considered an excellent race for ornamental purposes. Its elegant form and subtle colouring make it perfect for adding movement and texture to borders, rock gardens, or naturalistic plantings. Stipa pseudoichu is a versatile grass that thrives in well-drained soil and full sun, providing a dynamic addition to any landscape design.
